Distractions

THIS is VERY distracting to me. I REALLY like this game....like ALOT. Adam got me a Wii for Christmas along with the Wii Fit, well We bought this game shortly after (had to order it online because all the store were sold out, now I know why) Christmas and I am addicted. Originally, Adam got it for me to play while he is gone to Afghanistan, but it was cracked open MUCH sooner than that! :) It is VERY similar to the original one just with better graphics and more options as far as multiple players and that sort of thing.

So, I did register for classes this semester at UT Tyler! I was accepted into the UT system wide online MBA program. It is sort of strange because you take classes from ALL UT (accredited) system wide schools, so for instince I applied through UT Tyler but only 3 hrs of the 48 hrs total come from UT Tyler, the rest are from UT Austin, Dallas, PB, PA, and several other branches. It sounded like a good idea...but now I am thinking I might wait another semester. With Adam leaving, me working, being pregnant, my mom and sister coming to visit and various other family, friends and anyone who wants to come, I think I am going to hold off a little longer. I just really wanted to get started now, I feel like it would be better to get going on it-but at the same time I see why I should wait.

I am suppossed to be at work right now. I got up this morning, got dressed, ate and left for work, but on the way (the 4 min drive) I started feeling bad. I didnt really think anything of it, and thought I just needed some fresh air. I got out of the car and went inside. Sure enough, not even 20 minutes after 7 I was in the bathroom-I barely made it over there! I started sweating, and thought I was going to pass out! It was ridiculous, I stayed in there for about 10 minutes started feeling better, and walked back to my office, next thing you know, I was feeling badly AGAIN! so I said forget it, after 45 min into the day I left and said "see ya Monday" I came home got in the shower and relaxed, now i am feeling MUCH better just surfing the web and snuggling with Cooper.

I have been feeling really good up until the 14 week mark, for some reason at that point things started going downhill for me. We made chicken for dinner on Wednnesday night and I almost threw up after looking at it, it just REALLY grossed me out. Then Thursday morning, Cooper threw up and as I was cleaning HIS throw-up, up I gagged TWICE And thought I was going to barf AGAIN! It was really NASTY!!! EWWWWW I am hoping this weekend goes better for me, than the past few days have.

This weekend, since we have Monday off too, ADam and I were considering going down to San Diego for a night or two, so he could scube dive and I could just look around and eat some yummy food. This is still up in the air, because Adam needs some new scuba gear and we may just go to Palm Springs or Riverside instead and eat (at a restaurant because I am REALLY LOVING to eat out) and check out USA Baby. We are planning to get the 3d/4d ultrasound on Jan 30 to determine the gender! That will be exciting and we can't wait for that! :) My next appointment is on the 26th, but I don't think they do an ultrasound then, its just a check up. The 20 week appointment on base will be some time at the end of February when they will tell us the gender-but we can't wait! :)

So, I have been doing some looking and this is what we have come up with so far:

Strollers:

The BOB ( I have ALWAYS wanted one of these-my cousin calls them the "lexus" of strollers)

The Chicco (travel system)
We decided to go with a travel system and a joggin stroller separately (this was Adam's FAV idea) and I don't really care as long as I get the BoB! :)

As far as a crib....that is what we are going to USA Baby for this weekend. The room that the baby will sleep in is completely cleaned out and ready for some baby stuff! :) WE have a few things in there (clothes, a sling, and some UT pacifiers) that's about it though. While we were at home, we stopped in a store called Storkland in Tyler and they had the comfiest rocking chairs! I want one soo bad. I need to start looking at them-I am sure the baby store this weekend will have them too! :)

I ordered some looser shirts last weekend from GAP and I am hoping they come in soon (like today and I also ordered a bella band and an Ingrid and Isabel cami-so hopefully those will be good investments) I have several friends who didn't need maternity clothes up until after 20 weeks, but I don't want to get in a bind and wake up one day and not have anything to wear-since I cant just run to the store real quick. Sometimes when I say stuff like that I feel like I live on a deserted island-sometimes it does seem like that. I am not exaggerating! :)

This is a CUTE little Tree Hugger onesie we got while at home, that I LOVE!

Of course, can't go wrong with the Texas Pacifiers :)

Coopsie with his 'baby' clothes-he already loves the new addition.....

That is all for now. Hopefully, I can start blogging more frequently. I am keeping my fingers crossed. :)

I hope you feel better! I was sick as a dog from about week 6 till like week 15, then overnight I was fine! Thats when I started gaining a lot of weight though, ugh =)

I've heard the Chicco travel systems are awesome. We went with a graco one, just because I loved the colors (green and brown).

Can't wait to find out what you are having!
