Homeless, not for long!

Last night I couldn't sleep at all (1) because I had an interview today for a job on the base that I really want that would be great and that I could use my degree for and (2) because we were getting our address today to check out our house!
We got up, and Adam said don't worry about getting the address-I will do it, you just worry about your interview, so I'm like ok that's fine. We planned to go at lunch and get the address and check out the house then. I am guessing that Adam could not resist, so he went on over to the housing office, and got the address. He called me about 8:40 and said well, we are on Upshur, I said, "what?!" really? Those are the 2 car garage houses. I was super excited, we drove over and were totally surprised! It looks great! We are beyond thrilled. We honestly thought that those houses were kind of "reserved" for those families who had several children and needed the extra space-esp in the garage!
Here is the front of the house, from the street. How freaking awesome is the side garage? I really don't like it when the garage is in the front, but I can't complain because anything would have been great!

Here is the front from the driveway, it curves around to the street, so this is from the curving point, the garage faces the side, not the road!

This is Adam's car in the LARGE driveway. Practically every driveway here can only hold 1 car in the driveway, but ours.....man! bring on the vehicles because seriously we could fit like 8 cars in the driveway! You can see the other houses in the distance, most have front-facing garages. :)

The backyard, those 2 trees are ours! :) This was taken this morning, so the amount of shade is probably misguiding, but still SHADE, and GRASS in the desert!? What more can you ask for? In the distance is the Clubhouse and pool for our community and the golf course! ALL within walking distance and to the right of this picture is the playground area and basketball court

More of the backyard, our two trees!, we will be able to put up a fence back here, we just have to get it approved.

This space is the covered patio!! Its HUGE and super nice! I think it will be very comfortable to hang out in all year round! All along the edge of the wall is a place to plant flowers in-which Adam is totally excited about!

Another view of the front, those purple plants look really nice in front too. I have heard some people say that you are not supposed to plant things in the ground, but that they don't know if you do.....

Another frontal view, again I LOVE the driveway-I'm such a dork. Probably because it reminds me of my parents driveway in Texas REALLY big! What can I say, I like my space!?

The truck parked in the garage belongs to the painter, we asked if we could look around and he was like yeah! go ahead, I didn't take any pics inside, just because I didn't want to abuse our privileges AND they are redoing the floors and some of the appliances. We get to do a walk through on Friday the 26th (cross your fingers for the 25th) that way we can get our furniture delivered on the 26th and have the weekend to unpack! As much as I don't want to have to unpack everything again, I am excited to get into a house after we have been homeless for soo long lol!

So, I am looking forward to great weekend, celebrating our new house and my job possibility!
