29! and Tatoos

So far the 29 Palms lifestyle has been ok. MUCH better than I expected, not perfect but better than i thought.




Last night we had to retreat back to the Motel 6 :( BIG sad face. Last night we had to stay on the 3rd floor, in the back. It was the last room they had left that wasn't smoking. And I can't do a smoking room unless I want to be absolutely miserable the next day! So, I made the climb to the 3rd floor. The hotel was incredibly crowded, obviously. There were a group of probably 12 mexicans in the room next door to me with the door wide open and their cooler of various alcoholic beverages displayed proudly on the floor by the door. I tried to hurry past as quick as possible. After I made several trips to the car and up to the room, I started smelling hamburgers cooking on a grill! YUMMM! I thought. I look out a little further in the parking lot AND to my surprise another group of mexicans were huddled around the back of their truck, with, of course their grill and they were grilling hamburgers. In the parking lot of the Motel, just ANOTHER reason why I can NOT wait to get in a house on the base.




As I was leaving Adam's office yesterday, one of his guys told me to watch out that Meth is a little bit of a problem in this immediate area...WHAT?!? Well thanks for that little tip! I haven't seen anything that looked like a drug deal but I am not exactly looking so that could be why.




As of right now, today I had nothing to do so I wandered down town in 29 Palms and found a little place called Wonder Garden Cafe, its fabulous. They have wireless internet which is where Im hanging out because I dont have anywhere else to go! :( The Hotel made me leave since we were changing rooms so they told me I MUST come back after check-in around 3.





















Hmm....Tomorrow what will I do? Drive the 30 miles to Home Depot and the regular Wal-Mart (not a super center-that's another 20 miles after the 30)? Go to the pool? Go for a run on the base? Who knows? I may just stay in that awful hotel room ALL day with the crazys that are Motel 6.





















Maybe I will even get a tattoo-since there are so many tattoo parlors around here...

This one just might work, I mean I would not have to wear make up anymore right? No one would see it AND I could choose the color, she choose blue-I might go with Red or Green I really like Green.

Now, this could work too. This would take a while maybe even a few days. Man, I could really take up some time getting this one done. The only thing, when I wear tank tops it would show through, hmmmm....

I need to think about my choices a little more as you can see. Explore some options, prices, styles, etc.

Maybe I should just surprise Adam with a tattoo one day? I think he would be totally shocked!

I have a lot to think about now..... ;)
