LONG time!

WOW! It's been a long time since I have last posted anything. Surprisingly, I have been busy. even with Adam not being here I feel like I am on the go all the time. I guess my job is wearing me out more than I thought it would.

I like my job. I can't believe that I have been there for a little over 2 months now! It's crazy how fast it's going. I am still learning so much, and it's weird because I am still learning what my job will actually be. It's been hard dragging it out like this. But, It's OK I am being eased into it I guess. That's better than overwhelming me with more work than I can do. I am just ready to be independent there and "know" everything that I will be doing.

These past few weeks have been crazy! I have started going to work at 7 and getting off at 4 with an hour long lunch-which helps out a great deal. It allows me to come home and eat versus eating in a rush. I love being so close to my house to, It takes me 7 minutes to get home from work! I have also started going to the gym after work with another girl from work and it's been nice getting back into a routine of exercise. It's just to hot out here to run in the afternoons which is what I would prefer. Instead, I am just using the treadmill or the elliptical machines in the gym. It's pretty neat too because all the machines there have TVs in them! Which makes me 30 minute workout go by super fast!!

This weekend I went to Palm Springs yesterday, just to kind of look around. I went with a friend from down the road and we had a great time. She is having a baby girl and due in December! She is from Florida and her name is Jessica. We went to the mall and then over to Trader Joe's (grocery store), and to eat some Mexican food. We also checked out the "Pet Resort" down there-which was totally nice! If Adam and I have to board Coop I know where we are going to take him-at least they have air conditioning there! All of the ones we have checked into do not have air! That is ridiculous-It is too hot here not to have air. :) Today I have been reading up on Adobe Photoshop. I got it a year or two ago and I haven't done anything with it, so I am starting to read up on it now. Hopefully, I will know how to make some pretty picture creations very soon ;)

I also watched Twilight this weekend! It was OK, I am hoping to read the book soon. My friend Jessica let me borrow the book and i am going to take it on the airplane with me this weekend.

YAY! I will be going to see Adam in NC on Friday right after work and I am sooo excited! I can NOT wait to be there with him! It will be so much fun. A lady at work tells me that I am wishing my life away (because I keep talking about how I can not wait to be there) and I guess, it is true. I never thought about it that way, but it is hard when you miss someone, not to want the time to go by faster. It's weird. I am trying to enjoy my time here and then just look forward to seeing Adam. Unfortunately, my camera is broken! I sent it in to be fixed at Nikon, and they said that the lens is really broken and that it will be 99.50 to fix!! I told them to forget it and send it back to me because I will just get a new camera! I am sad thought because I won't have one while I am in North Carolina :( Only my phone.

I made lasagna tonight in my crock pot! It was pretty good. I went to the grocery store this morning and bought a bunch of stuff. I also got out my ice cream maker and made some chocolate frozen yogurt! It's pretty yummy~I only had a little because I had to put it in the fridge to let it completely freeze up.

I am thinking I may order some stuff from Schwann's. They come through the base every other Thursday and I was checking out the website and it looks like they have some good looking things! I will order some next week and let you know how it goes.

This was me in San Diego last weekend. It was beautiful, a little chilly, but very nice. My cousin Sara was the best host ever and drove me all over the place! :) This was taken in La Jolla (or near there)

We got PinkBerry which was freaking awesome and I can't wait to go back there :) I got coconut with chocolate chips and strawberries (those were for Adam). I am really liking the yogurt craze in California!

This was my lunch on Coronado. We went to a place called the Brig. It was really yummy. I got this spinach salad and a fish taco that was fabulous. :) I will definitely take people who visit me, there.
