So, in order for Adam to go willingly we had to go SUPER early which was ok with me too, that way we weren't out tooo late. We made the Spy Museum for 9:25. We did an interactive Spy Experience and then to tour the museum was $27 per person so $54 total. It was pretty fun, I think Adam enjoyed it more than he thought he would. The interactive thing was supposed to be like a true spy experience and it was we were given a "mission" and then had to get into elevators, rocky moving floors and lie detectors, question people, and avoid getting caught! Overall, it was pretty cool and there was a neat section on female spies in the museum that I liked! Too bad there was no photography in the museum, otherwise I would have taken a TON of pictures!!
We left the Spy Museum around 11, and stopped into a McDonalds in Chinatown on the way to the Cherry Blossoms. The McDonalds was kinda scary, which made Adam uncomfortable :/
We practically inhaled our food, because he wanted to get out of there, so we left. So we were on our way back to the Metro, to get closer to the Tidal Basin. We were headed down the escalator to the Metro and Adam starts to panic, ALLLLLL the people. I figured that it was because it was around lunch time and everyone was getting out to see the sights of DC.
We got off at a different stop, to see the Blossoms that I thought would be closer. It wasn't. We walked, and walked and walked and finally rounded a corner and saw this..
(you might blow up this pic and look at ALL the people sitting on the Jefferson steps) This is Adams freaking out face-I thought he was going to throw up.
I didn't realize that the Cherry Blossom festival was STILL going on. Ooopsss! hehe :)
Here are some more pics of the day
So, there is our trip to DC.
