Texas :)

The move, the movers had to rent a U-Haul to take our stuff to the truck, because the truck bottomed out in our driveway? hmmm.....

Here I am telling 5 Green Bell Goodbye for now..... You were good to us

So we made it back to Texas, safe and sound. yay!

The drive was.....horrible. I told Adam that he would be following with me the ENTIRE way to California from Texas. (I have been on 20 the whole way to GA, so that was ok-sort of, but going to California we WILL be taking our time and going at the same speed) We got here on Wednesday night after a LONG day of driving ~800 miles on Wednesday and ~600 on Tuesday, YUCKIE!

So we stayed at Adam's dads house until Saturday night, then on to my parents house. When we got up on Thursday morning, we took Raven to school and then came back to their house to get ready for the day. Adam took his dad's truck and went to hang out with Brian, and Katie came to pick me up in Lindale and we went to visit my mom at work and took Coop :) We went to lunch with my mom, Shelley, Yaziri and her IT man from work-we went to Newks. It was FABULOUS!!
I have a HUGE list of places to eat at:
  1. Mercados/Posados

  2. Newks

  3. McAlisters

  4. Double Dave's

  5. Donut Palace

  6. Cheddar's

  7. Mazzio's
  8. Texas Roadhouse
That is all I can think of for now. More to come later

On the way back to Adam's dads house, someone fell asleep..

The next day, we did not do anything big, just took Adam's car to the "Quick Lube" to get the rotors fixed, fluids flushed and tire rotated. What was supposed to be a 2 hour ordeal turned out to be an overnight deal. STUPID, these people could not get anything right. I just knew it was going to be over $500. Luckily, it was only about $350. We took our cars to get the inspection stickers renewed too since they were out as of 4/09. It now costs $14.50 to get it done. Used to be only $12.50. hmmm....I wonder where the extra $2.00 is going? Anyway, back to that morning, we woke up and Adam went to his car for something, and had a HUGE crack in his windshield. He was pretty upset, I thought that his car wouldn't pass inspection, but they passed it and even told him that if he called his insurance they would replace it for whatever the deductible is. Well, it turned out to be $190 plus tax-they are coming out to the house and fix it right there. So, we have dropped quite a bit of money here in Texas.

We also went to Adam's brothers house, Steven. They just had a new baby, Heidi, last Tuesday, so she is almost 2 weeks old, and precious!

And of course, Haley is too

Me and Adam with her

Here is Adam harassing Steven, like usual...

I have much more pics, but they will be posted later
